Remember to select the location of your deck carefully: take into consideration the sun, shade, wind and privacy. Also consider entry and exit to your home.

 

The height of the balusters and handrails depends on how far the deck is of the ground. Low level decks set up to 600mm from ground level, the height should be 900mm, for higher level decks, the baluster and handrails should be 1100mm.
