How Secure is my order?
Our banking system protects your payments as well. We use the Visa Verification system as recommended by most banks. This affords you the highest level of protection around at the moment. We are fully CPI Compliant. Our processes also mean that the Banks themselves check your credit card details on a Secure and Encrypted Server.
HOW DO I MEASURE MY GATE? (Metal Gates Only)
All sizes refer to actual openings and not the gate, fence or rail width; we have already allowed for hinges etc. Please see our "How To" page for more information
ARE FITTINGS INCLUDED WITH THE GATE?
With the exception of the village range and wooden gates (sold separately). All gates and railings are supplied with a pack of screw-on/bolt-on fittings to fix to existing timber or brickwork.
DO I NEED TO ORDER LEFT OR RIGHT HAND OPENING GATES?
All single, low bow, bow tops gates are supplied with a universal latch for left/right hand opening, except for Corfe and Balmoral, which are right hand opening when viewed from the road. All double gates have the latch on the right leaf when viewed from the road.
DO I NEED POSTS AND HOW DO I ALLOW FOR THEM IN THE OPENING SIZE?
Due to the weight of the gates, care must be taken to ensure that the brickwork is strong enough to support them; steel posts which are concreted into the ground are recommended on all large gates. Should you wish to hang gates on steel posts, please be sure to allow for the posts widths e.g. a 2438mm (8’0”) opening pair of gates and two 70mm (3”) posts will fill a 2578mm (8’6”) gap.
DO I NEED TO PAINT MY GATE?
Yes, all gates and railings are primed only and after fitting a further coat of good quality gloss paint is required as soon as possible after installation.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO DELIVER MY GATES?
 Most gates, fence and railing are available ex-stock for 5-7 working days UK mainland delivery. Made to measure items 21-28 days delivery. WHAT ARE THE GATES MADE OF?
All of our gates, fencing, railing etc are made from mild steel.
